I'd like to put 2 rear hydraulic remotes on my L4310 and I just got a quote from the dealer - Are you sitting down?
$1,040 smackers.

I need to find an L series in a junkyard.

That is when you buy your own control valve and plumb it in to your power beyond circuit. It will save you several hundred dollars and work just as good.

Rich, when you price the cylinders, TnT takes two large bore cylinders, a high quality valve, and a ton of hoses and even more fittings, it will all add up. I put TnT with a good quality 3 spool valve and 3 remotes to the rear all with quick couplers (6 in total) and the attachment on Kubota to add the power beyond not to mention the hardware to mount the valves I spent about $1300. Here is a picture of my setup. As much as it costs, having that adjustable top link is invaluable, worth its weight in gold. I need the 3rd spool for my hydraulic rippers on my boxscraper and a Harley rake, if you ever plan on adding a implement that takes hydraulics, add a 3rd spool. Rat...

P.S. your price is not that shocking as TnT and adding spools has been discussed many, many times here at TBN.

Wow, a very neat installation job. I know what you mean about all the parts adding up. But, It does not look like a whole lot of parts in the Kubota rear valve kit. I think it's just priced that high because it would cost alot anyway and then would net look original. So, people will spend the extra dough for the OEM kit.

His price was not for top and tilt, it was for 2 remotes only.
I ran into the same thing when tractor shopping.
I priced Kubota 3010 and 3410 (a couple years ago).
Dealer wanted $700 for the first set of remotes and 3 or $400 for the second set. Over $1000 total.
I added 2 sets of factory remotes to my DK 35 $450 for both.

Yeah, I think your right. My Kubota dealer wanted $1300 for the factory setup for all three remotes, remote plugin block cylinders, hoses, fittings etc. I just wanted my setup because I like the location better ergonomically. The factory setup is much cleaner then mine however. On my third remote I have an electric switch that redirects fluid on my Harley rake to three different sets of hydraulic cylinder(s). Whatever the case, I think if you have the desire to figure it out yourself, you can do it cheaper then Kubotas factory setup. The Gearmore or Gannon cylinders are going to be expensive, mine were about $250 each, there are alternative's to those as well that can save you plenty. Custom length hoses are more costly then ordering up some fixed lengths. My valve body was about $400, its made by Dinoil. The quick coupler prices are also of various quality and are reflected in the cost. Pioneers are a good compromise between quality and cost. I have 6 not to mention the ones on my extension hoses to my boxscraper and another set on my Harley rake. As you have probably found out on your Kioti, having TnT is a real advantage.

Well so far I only have the hydrualic top link.I used a 2 1/2" tie rod cylinder and welded on the top link ends cost was around $110 including hoses and quick couplers by going this route.Works real well, don't know how I got by without one.
I am still working on getting the tilt cylinder.
By the way I saw my first 3830 last week w/glidshift and R-4's and if I remember right a 723 loader.
Real nice looking machine !!

I have no doubt the Kioti's will continue to make greater market penetration. They certainly offer a lot.

Rich, I got the 2 kubota remotes for my 3830 for 750$. I installed them myself and the hardest part was getting the seat & mount off the tractor, weighed a ton, should have waited for some help. I made my own cylinders, using prince "make a cylinder" welded units, got them form baumhydraulics.com, great people to deal with. Got my hoses and ball sockets from them also. I think I spent about 350$ on everything for a 2-1/4" x 12" top and 2-1/4" x 6" tilt setup, I did all the fabrication and welding. Worth every penny!
