Here is a little gem that I discovered well off the beaten path. I have see two others that were similar, perhaps the same/similar model, but I wasn't in a position to get a picture. The bystanders in the back are an interpreter (who is a city guy and makes fun of my farming questions) and another guy on my team.
The majority of tractors over here are tore up old Russian models missing their sheet metal or fairly nice Massey Fergusons. Most tractors tend to be 2wd and in the 50-75 hp range as well. Not too many compact ones. I had seen a few Massey billboards in Baghdad but where I am the newest tractor would have to be a early 90s model, pre-Desert Storm.
They tended to import whole lots of identical cars, pickups, and tractors and the farmers would get what arrived. They use them for vegetables and vineyards where I am. Everyone is some type of farmer around my location, very rural.
This little guy is in a pretty obscure place and I was very pleased to happen upon it. Anyone estimate the year, HP or anything else? If the owner had been home I would have asked him how much it would cost or how much he would take for it to get an idea of the price of quality here.
Just thought there might be some interest.
