Here's an update on my first project with the KX - "assisting with" the installation of a 3,600 feet 4 inch water line. Actually the KX was to be there only to remove trees, minimal clearing and the occassional tough rock. Unfortunately the trencher (the MAIN machine to be used) died and all the work is now in the KX's hands. In 4 days we have nearly 45 hours on it and it is operating incredibly! Today it removed several large rocks, including a 5 foot by 4 foot by 2 foot rock. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif Of course it had to be dug out first. I continue to be very impressed with its' guts.
The down side, the first maintenance is only a few hours away. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
