Does anyone have any experience with the new Kubota ZTRs? I am looking to buy a ZTR, probably next year, (although the 0% interest has me thinking /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif), and I have not heard very much about these machines. I would love a ZD diesel powered machine, but the price of the ZG is more appealing.
I have got 725 hours on the BX 2200, and am planning to buy the ZTR to take the mowing workload off the BX. I am mowing a 2.5 acre property and a 2.0 acre property, so the hours add up.
Thanks,
Will

Its really worth considering. With the kubota you are paying for their extremely over built drive trains where with other brands you pay for fancy bagging systems and engineered to the hilt decks with belts. Personaly, i think most people will get more value out of the Kubota than many other products. I have been very impressed by them. The gas models are nice, but the diesels blow the away.

I bought a 3 yr old ZD21 last spring.
I love the diesel engine - smoother and less noise than my gas mower. I love the mower. It cuts great. These are commercial grade and built to last. I cut about 5 acres or so with mine. It is much faster than my 6' finish mower.
The diesel engine sips the fuel compared to my craftsman 25 hp Kholer lawn tractor.
You can also buy off road fuel (I can in AR) and save $$ on fuel.
