Kubota ZD 1211 grass catcher also good for leaf pickup?

I have a new 1211 that I'm thinking about putting a grass catcher on for leaf pickup. Anyone using one that could comment on the quality of job it does picking up leaves? Wet leaves?

My previous Kubota had a mulching kit on it, while the 1211 doesn't. I like the cut of the 1211 better than my last mulcher. But I don't like the dust/debris that is kicked up by the side discharge, and I no longer can mulch my leaves. How do the 1211's cut with a mulching kit?

I have used my grass catcher to pick up leaves, but it doesn’t work that great. It fills the catcher with the leaf debris so quickly, that you spend a lot more time running back and forth to the mulch pile than actual leaf pick up.

A back pack leaf blower works best for me, mulching is next best, z turn bagging if I don’t mind spending all day in a boring repetitive job.

I put chute blockers on my ZD mowers last year. Closing off the chute for leaves works well, but creates a lot of dust. I usually make several runs in one direction with the chute open, then close off the chute to mulch the windrow.
I did watch a video recently where the company mulched the leaves first with a discharging mower, then went over it again with a bagging mower. It seemed to work well.

Having worked on a 4-acre property with quite a few large trees - that method works well. Cut leaves pack much better than close to whole ones.

I have the zd1211 with the kubota bagging system, which has the blower mower mounted on the discharge side of the deck and has an additional belt that attaches the the main deck pulleys. With the bagger system it picks everything up off the ground ( thankfully no rocks yet), then the bagger motor has an impeller that will chop stuff up before discharging it into the bag. Works great, fairly easy to take the bagger's blower motor on and off.
