I have been using a z125s for the past 3 years mowing around the farm. This summer it began having some trouble starting. I charged the battery and it started right up for several weeks. Then the clutch started to disengage while mowing and it would not start. I replaced battery and no issues for several weeks. Now same issue, clutch disengaging and won't start. I am guessing the battery is not being charged. I checked wiring and it all looks intact. I am charging the battery after every use but not a long term fix. What's the next step? generator replacement? Any help appreciated.

Thanks

First would be to verify if the unit is not charging! Simple regulator exchange might be the end to your problem! The longer you run an electric clutch with a shortage of power the quicker it will destroy itself!

Thanks. That would be a simple fix. I will give it try!
