Kubota Tractor Package Deals

Does anyone have any experience buying one of the Kubota package deals that some dealers list online? Basically its tractor with FEL, 7,000lb trailer, land pride brush cutter and land pride box blade. Their prices are about the same as what my local dealer quoted me for just the tractor with FEL.

Wondering if it would be worth the drive from NE Wisconsin.

Does anyone know if I would be charged sales tax if I am out of state? And what is sales tax in AL?

The Alabama (AL) state sales tax rate is currently 4%. Depending on local municipalities, the total tax rate can be as high as 11%.

WI Sales tax without a city bump is 5%. If you only pay the AL state rate of 4%, you may still b legally required to report and pay the other 1% to WI.

What kind of towing vehicle do you have? How much fuel would you use to make that round trip?

I get what the guy in that video is saying. However, I am not looking for anything 吐ancy? It says that the implements are land pride which is a decent brand. Not just junk. And even if they are junk, technically they didnt cost me anything.

Would be towing with 2016 F150 with the 5.0. If I averaged 15mpg it would cost me $300-$350 in fuel round trip.

Some of those trailers look a little light under those tractors. They might get it home, but not something I'd want to use on a regular basis! You will also probably find that those Land Pride implements are the lightest duty ones that Land Pride makes.

Equally important those trailers are SHORT almost without exception.

I think you are overly optimistic on fuel economy on your truck. I'm thinking more like 9 mpg towing upwards of 7000# plus wind drag.

And, how happy will your local dealer be if you need warranty service? Certainly, he has to honor the warranty, but you will not be first priority as customers that purchased from the dealer.

1. No sales tax in Alabama if you put an out of state address on the BOS and take it away (no delivery). Otherwise its 4%
2. Second what people have said- package deals will be light duty implements and the trailers are crap
3. I like the folks at Snead in Centre but Blount County Tractor 35121 is the lowest price dealer anywhere

FYI Blount County property taxes are less than $2.00 per $1,000 of appraised value (and that is before the ag reduction).
