Kubota Tires

I stopped on my way home from work last night and look at/dreamed about a 7500 they had there on the lot. I noticed something strange. It had Goodyear tires on the rear but Bridgestones on the front. The 2200 they had there had "matched" tires, but the 2910 also had mismatched tires, don't remember which ones it had though. Is this common for Kubota's or is this dealer doing something strange with the tires.

jwstewar, my '95 B7100 came with Goodyear tubeless tires all round, but my '99 B2710 has Goodyear tubeless on the front and Firestone tube type on the rear.

i personaly would like all tires to be the same. not sure it would make that much difference as long as they are the proper size and tread design. but when u buy ask for matched tires.

I just bought a 2001 2710 and it has Goodyear on the back and Titan on the front. I have seen this same setup on many tractors from many different dealers. Don't know why though.

I don't KNOW, but I have a guess that it is the lowest cost combination. Who? Me? Jaded? Never! /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

L3410 with R-4 Firestones front & rear - guess that was what was on hand the week my tractor was built. Do the Firestone tractor tires have anything in common with their Wilderness AT tires? If so, guess I'll have to keep my speed below 70mph in hot weather (told, and paid, by Ford to replace the Firestone tires on my pick-up). Shucks, and I so much like to feel the breeze during a fast trip back to the barn after a hard day in the fields.

L4310 with Titans on the Front and Firestone R4s on the back. Go figure? I did not know enough about tractors to even ask when the machine was delivered. If I had it to do all over again, I would probably order the machine with R4 radials verses the bias ply tires that are standard. Every bit of traction helps.
