One dealer has quoted a 60" Bush Hog tiller, another a 57" Kubota for a L2800.
I have experience with Bush Hog, but not with a Kubota tiller.
Any opinions?

I was looking for a kubota tiller too and my local dealer told me that kubota brand tillers were so much more expensive that he did'nt even stock them.It looks like if they wanted to sell them they would get the price a little more compariable to the other brands. From what other people has told me you should look for one with 6 tines and not 4.

I purchased a Kobota reverse tine tiller when I was unable to get a landpride reverse tine tiller due to 5 week lead time. I have used landpride tillers for many years and found them to be excellent. however now that I have used the Kobota tiller I would say that it is as good as landpride in it's construction but it is a very smooth runing unit, because it is a reverse tine unit it requires a little more horse power to pull it but the quality of the tilling is excellent I would have to make 3 passes with the forward tiller to get the same results it does a super job on keeping rocks down deep, larger rocks it tends to kick them out to the the side of the pass. The price of the Kobota and the landspride is about the same.
