Thought I'd start a new thread on this ongoing discussion. There seems to be a problem with traditional dealers either not stocking the Kubota oils and filters, or charging a bundle for them. There are two very good internet dealers, Tractorsmart, and Carver Equipment that offer Kubota parts and supplies at a very reasonable price. I chose to try Tractorsmart for my first maintainance on my new B2910. I am impressed! I got all the filters and 5 gallons of Super UDT, delivered to the house in 3 days, and for under $80!! Carver seems to be a few cents cheaper, and probably offers similair outstanding service. There are probably other good oils out there, but if I can get this kind of service and price, I choose to stay with the Kubota products. I figure if I use what Kubota recommends, there should never be a problem with any warranty work...and just maybe no warranty work at all. The way I see it, oil/filters/lube and general PM and cleanliness on the equipment is a lot cheaper than overhauls and trips to a dealer for repairs.
