Kubota starting after sitting for 1+ year

Personally I would always start with checking if the oils have water in them after sitting for long periods, especially if stored outside. Drain a little bit of oil and hydraulic fluid at the drain plugs and see what comes out. If you find water, bits of metal or other issues they will likely present themselves there to some degree. If all looks good then just make sure levels are topped up.

The same goes with fuel. Disconnect the fuel line and inspect whats coming out while also checking the volume of flow. If oils or fuel look bad then use discretion as to whether to change or not. Nothing quite like pumping water through a system that's supposed to have oil or fuel in it..!! Finally make sure radiator is topped up and you're good to go.

I find that checking these things can usually prevent having to deal with a mess later on.

Just my 2 cents.
