Snow Kubota Snow plow cutting edge

I have a L4200 with a 6ft Kubota snow plow, I'm looking for the rubber cutting edge, has anyone use them, I have a long black topped drive way/road, and would like to hear from anyone using the rubber, and where I can order one. Thanks!

Enclosed picture is a B2766 Rubber (squeegee) on a BX2763A 60" Snow/Utility Blade. I just installed this and have not had need to use it. I have a shared driveway and taking a chance damaging the neighbors and/or my side is not an option so I got this. It should be available in any length blade Kubota makes. I know my neighbors all use a plow service that uses a squeegee on their blades due to problems with other plowers damaging the sealer and asphalt. Squeegee is well built and reversible so it should last a long time in snow. List price for the one I have was $160.00, it was worked into the plow package so I couldn't tell you what the street price will be?

YOu could go to tractor supply and buy a horsemat and using a circ saw, cut a 5" wide 6' length off and using a strip of steel as a sort of washer, bolt it to the plow leaving 2 inches hanging below the cutting edge of the blade. I did with my BB and has worked well.

Hey RPOAGE,

Roughly how thick is that squeegee?
I've been thinking about making one instead of buying the Kubota brand.

Also, any chance you can take a side shot picture showing how it mounts to the plow?

It is a little over a 1" thick.
When rixtory suggested horse mat that was real close as that is what it reminds me of with fiber reinforcement but a whole lot thicker. It fits the stock holes in the plow body so it is a no brainer to install. I will work on better pictures when the weather comes around a little.

So you take off the actually cutting edge to bolt the squeegee on correct?

That is correct they are interchangable.
