Kubota RTV900W, Engine Oil capacity conflict

I have been a RTV900 owner since June this year, The last Hurricane put her through some real tests. I just did the 50hr service and noticed a Engine Oil capacity conflict. The owners manual states 2.1qts US. with filter change. This amount of oil did not reach the lower mark on the dip stick. It took a total of 3.0qts US to reach the upper mark.

Do I have a problem with 3.0qts in the engine?
Has anyone seen this problem?

Other than this confusion we thing our RTV is great

There is an apparent discrepancy in the amount of transmission oil to be used in the 50 hour maintenance as well. I, personally, was having some transmission issues and used the Kubota Super UDT and Kubota filters for the transmission change. Doing so eliminated all of my transmission issues. For both the engine oil and transmission oil, I went by the actual dipstick reading. If I recall correctly, it took slightly more engine oil and quite a bit more in the transmission. I'd called my dealer and their shop manager confirmed what I was planning on doing; go by what the dipstick reads. Make sure you run it for a few minutes, shut it off for a few minutes, and read the level in each again. That should give you a true reading.

Thanks for the input, especialy on the use of the Kubota Super UDT transmission oil. My Kubota Dealer, located in Vero Beach Florida, sold me Massafergenson Trans Oil, they stated, that's what they use on all their Kubota products. I noticed that I lost about 200 to 300 rpm on the top end, as soon as I changed to this Trans Oil. I didn't think about it until I read your reply. I will try and locate Kubota Super UDT Trans oil.
