I purchased a Kubota RTV 400 in 2016. I have about 60hrs on the machine. The motor oil is increasing in level and turning in color to a milk/green.
I am told that I don't dive it hard or do not allow the engine to heat up. I find this to be hard to deal with. Has anyone a answer to my problem.

Since it's an air cooled engine that rules out antifreeze, and it's belt driven that rules out fluid from the transmission, I don't know what you have going on in that engine. I would definitely change the oil and oil filter before I ran it anymore. Smell the used oil for gas and note if it's thin, could be gas infiltrating the crankcase.

'Milky' indicates an emulsion, usually with water. Are you sure yours is the 400 (air) and not the 500 Liquid-cooled engine?

"green" is a mystery for sure.

2016? Still under warranty?? Has dealer looked at it?

Oil level increasing? Some fluid is getting in somewhere. It's either fuel or water from somewhere???

Dealer would be my direction, with a Warranty form in hand.

I'm going to move this thread over to our Kubota forum. I hope you find a solution soon!

If it is the air cooled model, then water is getting in through the vent.
Has the machine been through deep water or does it sit outside in the rain?
