I had problems getting grease in the right spindle on my mower deck, and now that I fixed the greasing problem, I see there's something wrong with the spindle. It's probably a bearing, but could be the spindle itself.
Where can i learn how to remove the spindle and look see what's wrong?
I tried loosening the big not on top of the spindle with an open-end adjustable wrench, but it wouldn't go and I didn't want to push too hard with the adjustable. I'm ready to buy a socket that fits this nut right, but I really don't know how to proceed and don't want to make things worse.
Is there a servicing manual online, or can anyone tell me how to do this?
