Hi I just going back and forth between a small wheel loader and a bobcat for parking lot snow removal.

I was wondering if anyone knew if I could get a cab and heat on either of these models of kubota wheel loaders. Also if anyone knew a ball park price for either?

well loader will be more expensive but will push more for its size. Get a snow pusher for either machine, don't mess with bucklets. Kubota has a nice cab model, it does not have A/C but I believe it does have heat.

A wheel loader is also going to give you faster ground speed, something to consider if you'll be doing any amount of extended travel.

The best thing to do is run both.MB in plaistow has asv skid steers and a R520 in stock.I would be glad to go over both with you

Rent before you buy, just to see what you like. How do you support the cost of your equipment when it is not snowing? Can you lease one for a month during the season? Monthly rates (per day) are much less than the daily rate. Who is doing the plowing now? Do you have to underbid them? Is your truck big enough to haul what you choose? Sometimes the equipment size pushes you into a bigger truck and trailer, which makes the equipment much more expensive. Resale on the skid steers is high because the demand is great for a multi-purpose tool. The folks buying wheel loaders are in the material business, so they won't overpay like construction guys will for skid steers.
Just some thoughts, Joe

I am doing the plowing now, we just bought a GMC 3500 with an 8 foot boss plow. It is great for plowing but the parking lot has no where to put snow without loosing parking spaces. And there is always a parking issue at our building. I would not want to lease a machine. I have gone down to MB and the ASV track loaders look very nice. Are they cheaper than the bobcat track loaders? The RC-50 ones look good. When I was there the place was closed so I just walked around and looked at the various machines.
