Kubota Quick Attach/Bobcat Skid Steer ??

I am debating whether to buy a set of Bradco pallet forks for my Kubota LA854 FEL with Quick Attach. A friend has a set of BOBCAT pallet forks he has offered to give me.

The dealer says that he isn't sure the BOBCAT forks will fit since they are about 10 years old. I haven't taken delivery yet, so I can't just hook them up. The dealer is a distance from me, so I can't take them and check.

Does anyone know about this? Is he just trying to sell forks? Obviously, free is better than ~$750 if the Bobcat forks will work.

As far as I know all skidsteer attachment plates are standard since around early 90's or so, but they do have smaller ones, careful
I would go with the freebies and if they dont work ? modifying is still cheaper

Worst case you can buy a universal plate for the forks for less than $100.00 and weld them on, then they will fit - if they don't already.
Free is free, can't hurt to get them and play with them.

You'll need to look at the attachment plate. Bobcat uses some standard stuff, other stuff is non-standard. Its tough to say.

I have Bradco Quick Attach forks for my L48, one of the best things I bought since rear 3pt. hitch forks for my Ford tractors. Whichever front forks you get, they are a must have.

Thanks for all the replies. I think for now I will go with the freebies. Hopefully they will fit fine without mods, but if necessary I can get the adapter a couple of you mentioned.

Where would be the place to look for said adapter?
