I recently was looking for some more outdoor tools...wife wants a battery powered weed wacker. Husqvarna gets really high reviews for their 536LiLx (now 520i LX). Turns out, their line of equipment...power tools, chainsaws, etc. all have a paint that is practically identical to Kubota. Does it matter? No...but it sure looks nice having a barn full of tools that all match, from my SVL-95 down to a string trimmer. I love it!
For reference, I took a can of Kubota Orange II (bought from Kubota), and painted a metal square, then compared it to some Husqvarna tools at our local Lowes. You can't see the difference...its that close of a match. I also compared to Stihl, which is not a match...more a faded orange than Kubota/Husvarna. Another benefit is we can buy Husqvarna practically anywhere...Lowes, Home Depot, even Amazon. Stihl I always have to go to a dealer. Sady I have a bunch of nice Stihl tools already, but I'll replace them with Huskys as I wear them out.

Kubota orange is also a close match to Black & Decker's paint color these days...but not sure I want to downgrade from my DeWalt tools though. But, for the price difference, it might be worth it given the rate at which cordless tools are changing and getting more powerful.
