I am having a **** of a time getting the geometry right on a new 4ft. mower I am trying to attach to my Kubota L210.

I can't figure out what I am doing wrong, but the durn thing won't raise more than about 3 inches off the ground (the front is about 3 inches, and the back is about 6.)

I have shortened the toplink, I think that may be what is holding it too low, but if the toplink is any longer, the arms won't attach at all. I have found some stuff about a floating toplink, but this mower didn't come with one..... I am wondering whether I would come out better by putting a Cat0 toplink with a floating attachment on the mower, rather than the Cat1 shortened toplink I am trying to use now.

-Anyone run into anything similar one one of these tractors??

-P.S.- My 4 ft rotary mower is a new Agri Four-if that helps....

-Thanks!
-Jeff

1st welcome to TBN. From the picture you attached the top link is in the bottom hole on the tractor. Try using the top hole to see if it helps. Also the mower is a Big Bee, atleast that is what the sticker says on the top of the mower. If changing the hole location doesn't help you may have a 3ph problem.

Welcome to TBN. Try moving to lower end of the lift links to the hole closest to the tractor. The lift links go from the lifting arms down to the lower arms (the right side one has the tilt adjuster). That should cause the ball ends of the lower arms to raise higher.

Is it possible to move from red to green on one side that has the extra hole and not the other side? I don't see a hole on the other side. or maybe it isn't supposed to have a hole.

Thanks everyone!

I fiddled with the setup this afternoon, and figured out what was going on....

I previously cut the PTO shaft off a little because the drawbars are pretty short, and I was having touble hooking the mower up at all. I got to thinking about it, and decided to cut off the other PTO shaft a little, and that did the trick!

One side of the PTO shaft was cut, and the other was not. The longer end was bumping up against the PTO joint, and would not allow the lift to pull the mower up very far.....

The whole problem was cuased by me not thinking. I was so focused on getting the PTO shaft shorted to mount the mower, I didn't even think about the possibility of the other half of the shaft binding anything up.

-Thanks Again!
