New to me Kubota M7060HD won’t shutoff with key switch . Problem occurred after replacing alternator and key switch. Checked fuel solenoid on injector pump and it seems to be working . Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance !
No panic …..unplugged the 2 wire connector on the alternator and it shut off.If you're standing there semi freaking out while you're tractor is running.....
Look for a round thing with a little rod coming out of it (probably a rubber "boot") in very close proximity to the injection pump. Either pull the wire or you might be able to pull or push the rod to kill the fuel.
It is a plug and play key switch . It is the correct part # and appears to be working .You replaced the key switch. Are you sure it's wired correctly?
I’ll retest the fuel solenoid , voltage etc this weekend . Thank you for the reply !Please explain why you think engine shut off solenoid is working....
Solenoid on pump usually "operates" when key is turned off and is controlled by a timer so it stay OPERATED for a period of time (8-10 seconds) to stop fuel flow, no fuel, engine should not be running....
