Kubota M7040 engine oil capacity?

Manual calls for a little over 11 quarts but that leaves it around the add mark on the dipstick. Would you trust the manual or the dipstick? It would take a quart of more to get it to the upper mark? What would you do?

Dipstick every time.

Besides, my manual calls for 11.6 quarts and Kubota calls full to the middle of the dipstick.

11.6 US quarts equals 10.97769litres. Close enough to 11 litres for me, meaning that it works out nicely in the rest of the world.
I'd go by the dipstick, very rare to get the wrong dipstick in something, not so rare to find a typo in a manual. Personally I try to fill to slightly below the full mark. I don't mind being at the full mark but really dislike to be above it. Just one of those things

That's where I left mine on an oil change a week ago. A bit below full. That's using real close to 12 quarts.

That is what my manual says, 3 gallons puts in almost in the middle of the 2 marks.
