Wanting to purchase a new M59 with Hyd Thumb, any Dealers want to throw some prices back at me? Does any one know of a dealership that has one in stock? They are becoming more and more scarce to see on the lots, as dealers aren't wanting to gamble on having that on hand due to the cost. Picking one up is as close as me saying that price will work for me, and time enough for the paperwork to be done. I have researched this tractor for about a year now. I still can't seem to look at anything else, I go back to this time and time again.

Where you live is a big part of this. I'm in Michigan but won't help you much if your in California. I would go sit on some similar sized CUTs as it will be hard to find a M59. M59 is truly the best in its class if you want a large TLB/CUT mix it's your best and only option. They are pricey but good machines. Wish some other company's like Deere would make a comparable just for some competition but right now the best comparable is the JCB MIDI which is only 50HP and only 25 PTO HP which is absolutely ridiculous. 25 PTO HP is basically useless. Unless you don't use the PTO the JCB is a no buy.

Are you fairly set in stone on the M59 or are you still looking at different options? If you want a cab a Laurin is really nice. I consider myself mainly a Deere guy because of my local Kubota dealer not being great but if I wanted this size TLB I would definitely have a M59

Since you didnt fill out your profile or give us any indication of where you're located,I dont know if this will help or not.....but,there is a new M59 at the dealer in Henderson Texas as well as one in Alba Texas.
BTW...what is the price range for these?

Really? We have 3.

Yeah, but you are a bigger dealership with lots of $$$$. ;) The last time I was by my local Kubota dealership, they also had an M59.

I am not really much of a Kubota guy, a lot to do with the local dealer I guess. :( But hands down if this is the size a person needs, from what I have seen it is an absolutely great machine . Really the only question would be is what options do you get? :confused3: Me, I would get them all. :D

They don't have too, if you want a bigger deere then a 110 , most people around are area get a industral john deere 310E for there backyard. which weigh about 15000 lbs. Ok so they have 4000 hours on them. You can get them for half the price too. If i had a big farm, i won't have my small compact.

Dont want to hijack this thread, but on what tractor is the M59 based on?

Its really not the same though. I'm in this situation right now. I bought land up north. All wooded but I want to leave a lot of the trees. I definitely feel like a 110 could do the job but would rather have an M59 size. I would get the M59 but they are such a new model that the used models haven't came down in price enough and I can't afford the price of a nice M59 to a nice used 110.

Here's some more M59's though:

I'm not as much of a Kubota guy as Deere guy so I can't tell you for sure but I think it's more off of the Grand L5740 b/c it has the hydrostatic and all which I don't believe the M has which makes me wonder why they don't call it an L59?? Not positive though:confused::confused:
