Well, it’s been a while since I have been on TBN. Work, grad school, and other commitments have kept me very busy these last few years, but now I finally have regained some control of my life.
We have a 2004 New Holland TC45DA w/SuperSteer, 17LA loader, Woods RM8400 finish mower, and a Woods BB72 rotary cutter with only 194 hours that I managed to buy while all this was going on. It has been a life saver and a great little tractor that has been trouble free and we are going to keep it.
However, I need to be able to bush hog more acres quicker and do some disking now as well as some heavier loader work. I have looked at green, blue, and orange in the 90 PTO range. Most dealers around here don't seem interested in making a sale, or it may be that I'm just cheap. LOL I think I found a good buy this weekend but I am not for sure.
A Kubota M105X with LA1301S loader with 84” bucket with CD radio was priced at $47,985.00. This was just a quick quote. I did not try to haggle for a better price. Still shopping. This dealer is close to work. About 1 mile, and the man that owns the dealership seems honest.
I don’t know if this was a good price or not, but I am thinking about going back on Tuesday to sign the papers; if I don’t change my mind. He is supposed to have two 15 foot Batwings delivered by then that I can look at. One is Woods and the other is a Bush Hog brand.
I don’t know what a M125X would cost. I did ask about one, and he said that he just did not stock them. He said this area is dominated with people who farm small scale, or are cattle farmers, hay producers, or people that just bush hogged property.
I'll attach some pics of the 105 on the lot.
