L3010 engine died, suspect head gasket, would like to remove loader to ease access!!

Can I hook up disconnect lines to another tractor's hydraulic remotes to remove? There are three disconnect lines though. One goes to loader valve in, one to out, and then the one that gets reconnected to the tractor when the loader is removed goes to the center of the loader control body. Is that a pressure relief return? can I leave that disconnected to remove loader??

Yes, just plug the pressure line from your other tractor into the broke tractor FEL valve IN port.

Connect the PB line from your tractor into the FEL PB port of the broke tractor.

Connect your return hose into the broke tractor OUT port.

You should now be able to control the broke tractor loader.

Yes the FEL valve middle port is labeled PB

I had to research Hydraulic PB to learn it stands for "pressure beyond" correct?

not sure where to go with this on the good tractor, CaseIH JX55 with 2 remotes( a pair of in and out)

Not sure where the PB port would be on the Case. Do I need to hook that up?

How about just put your loader lift valve in float, use the Case to lift the bucket, then return the loader valve to center.

I have also done it with a hi-lift jack. :thumbsup:

A lot of the old tractors only had a pressure and a OUT hose, The flow and the cyl fluid all passed through the OUT port.

I would connect the pressure to the IN port,

The broke tractor FEL PB hose and FEL OUT hose can be teed and fed back to the Case OUT port. This will let Case pump flow and cyl fluid to combine and return to the Case tank.
