Price Check Kubota L4400-Is this a good Price?

Hello, I am a first time buyer and interested in purchasing an L4400 with a quick cupular, Industrial tires, and a 72 inch bushhog. I have been quoted $16500 for the tractor, $4255 for the cupular, and $1699 for the cutter. Can I do any better on this price or is this good? I have a 26 acres horse farm and will be doing mowing, some light discing, moving manure and shavings. Also, does any know about the Equine membership program? If you are a member of an equine organization, the dealership can get around a $400 discount. Anyone heard of this? I can take all the advice I can get.

I have not priced the 4400 but you might want to specify what type of trans. hydro or gear you are pricing.

One more thing check Barlow equipment seems like they have some of the best prices and alot of people at TBN said they are great to work with. I know they gave me a great quote on a 3240 I was pricing. Not sure where you are located .

I have been considering trading for the same tractor --4WD w/HST-- and your price so far is better than the best price I have seen. Wish I had more to go on for you.

I do know there are some great deals on tractors right now.

That's about the same price that was mentioned at a farm show recently for a new L4400HST....coulda been $16900. Seemed reasonable and it's a very nice tractor.

Some here say the L4240 Grand L with HST and the same engine is only a little more and a much better deal. Don't know if this is true. You might want to ask your dealer. I prefer the basic tractors, myself.

What's a cupular? The term's new to me. Did you mean a Front End Loader?
