Kubota L4330
I have a Kubota L4330D (GST) tractor with a front end loader, bought around five or six years ago. I hit 350 hours yesterday, and the service light come on (indicating time for scheduled maintenance). Well, I haven't had the tractor serviced since around 100 hours, so I am curious what all needs to be done at this point. The local Kubota dealer doesn't seem to return phone calls regarding scheduled service, so I am considering doing the work myself. I bought the tractor from a dealer a couple of hours away, so I wouldn't mind being able to do this at home.

What should be done at 350 hours? All that's been done since the 100hr service is add diesel and grease the fittings. Any recommendations on oil or hydraulic fluid, and other than the dealer, what is my best option for parts? Thanks!

Jason280,

I have the same tractor and the owner's manual is very detailed about what needs to be done when. Do you have the manual? Mine is coming up on 400 hours and that is when the hydraulic system needs maintanence.

I have a L5030 HSTC and the service intervals run at 50, 100, 200 and 400 hours. We service several different tractors, so I will need to round up my manual for a break down, but this will give you a pretty good idea as the schedule is the same as far as I can tell for the L30 and L40.

Thanks for the info and the service link, that will be a huge help. I believe the manual may still be in the seat, guess I need to check and see!

If it is not in the seat, you can get one from the dealer or from Messick's. We bought an extra for our 8540, one to keep in the tractor and one to keep at home.

Maintenance is pretty straight forward. My son recently did the 1200 hour on our L5030. The only thing we use a dealer for is to adjust the valves every 800 hours. My wife and I do everything but the 400 hour.
