I have seen many detailed reviews about all sorts of products covering everything from A -Z. This is not going to be one of those lol. I have had my L3901 HST with loader, Land Pride 1860 Rotary Cutter, and Box Scraper. I have only put 40 hours on the clock so far. Between work, family, and Autistic son, i don't get as much seat time as I like. However, looking back over the last five months at everything i have accomplished with this tractor is remarkable. Re graded 1/2 mile of driveways, brush hogging, skidding dozens of firewood poles, firewooding, land clearing, maintain two miles of trails, all in 40 hours?? I love this tractor more each day than the day before. Plenty of power, stable, smooth and comfortable. five stars

I have the same tractor and close to the same amount of time. Overall, very happy with the power and HST compared to my older Kubota. No major concerns with the addition of Tier 4 either. Seems like it may burn a bit more gas but not convinced that is the case. My only issue is that the rear wheels are more narrow than I prefer as it seems "tippy" to me. I own this though as I did not take it into consideration when doing my research before purchase. I did not seem to have this issue with my L2250 which was a bit wider. I am looking into the possibility of adding spacers.
Other than that, I'm looking forward to many years of seat time on this tractor and encourage anyone to check it out if in the market for one. The added horsepoere is noticeable when using my wood chipper, and I am looking forward to seeing how she does with the snowblower this winter. Bring it on Old Man Winter!!!:cool2:

I added some 1.75" steel Kubota spacers on my L3400, and would do it again in a flash. Tractor just seems to sit better, isn't too wide, and pushes snow with more authority (for a smallish tractor). I have turfs, and needed them for rear chains, which seemed on the tight side before. If your snowblower is 64", isn't your wheel spread less on a L3901, so spacers wouldn't be a factor?

I agree, I love my L3901, and if you think you have done a lot with only 40 hours, think about what I have accomplished with 134 hours. Had 19 acres of wild forest (1 acre was cleared for house, yard, and drive) and only have 6 acres left to convert into pasture.

I have the same tractor and my opinion of it is the same as yours. I have a 1000 lbs worth of wheel weights and it made a huge difference in stability. Putting it through the 50 hour service right now and I'm going to replace the trans oil with Super UDT. Heard people say it quiets it down noticeably. I'll let you guys know.

Those Florida "forrests" must be sure easy to clear, 12 Acres in 134 hours with a small lightweight tractor?

It took me thousands of hours to terra-form 7 Acres of NH ridge to a small farm, even with help plus my own equipment.

Thanks for the info, good to hear it worked well for you. I need to determine what will be the best size spacers to go with. The rear wheel spread is about 55 inches, so as long as the spread with spacers is less than 64, I should be good.

If width isn't a problem I added 3 1/2" spacers on my L3901 for 70" width and love it. I've got a lot of slopes and hills in my pastures and helps the stability tremendously. 80 hrs on mine and loving it.

Have you ever been to FL? Our ground is sand. And the oaks I can push over are not bigger than 6" dia., do it after a heavy rain (which it does a lot) and raise the FEL as high as it will go, drive into a tree, lower the bucket while pushing forward and as the tractor climbs the tree, the tree slowly comes down. Yes our forests are Scrub oak, aka Black Jack oak and Turkey oak. The Hickory and Pecan trees are still standing ( not many to start with)
