Kubota L3710 Steering Cylinder

Any tricks to getting the cir-clip out of the cylinder end caps? Need to replace the seals and the o ring in the end caps.

Use a brass punch and try and knock the end of the cylinder a small distance back into the cylinder to make removing the clip easier.
Hydraulic pressure has been forcing the end against the clip and now you need to take a bit of that pressure off.

Of course, the hoses need to be open so fluid can come out.
