Just replaced the GTS clutch pack and the 3 point does not work, also the PTO stayes in gauged all the time this is a non independent PTO set up. All the hydraulic lines are hard lines and can not b crossed only fit one way. I spec i can figger how the PTO got out of whack and will look into it. I hope I don't have to remove the PTO one way clutch cam cause i would have to remove the trans again. I did not have the PTO clutch out of the mid section. I do have right many spectators and the PTO leave may have been engaged while i had the trans out and the shift leave got out of place. The trans and GST work great, the power steering works great. Both use the hydraulic pump off the engine as the rear hydraulics do.

I spec that I do not have hydraulic pressure to the lift cover. I do see a pix of a book with a hand point'n to the book on the line that goes from the front hydraulic block fit'n to the lift cover. I have looked in the repair manual but have yet figgerd out what it is in reference to. I have removed the banjo bolt their and the other banjo bolt at the other line on the hydraulic block hope'n the bolts were different but a NO GO. I see no reference to a check valve or pressure relief valve at this connection. I take it the pix of a book is a warring but can not find it in the kubota repair manual. Wondering if this system need bleed'n and if so how, thanks

Went and washed my b utt and came back and read the repair manual, never found enny info bout the hydraulics not work'n. Went to the symbols in the owners manual and its said read the owners manual so re read it and found that the hydraulic type block outlet for the loader has a screw, turn when the loader izz on on it one way and thurn another way when off, U mutta &!$%#, turned it and the 3 point werks only took 5 hours to figger it out so on to my goof up on the pto after i lock to door and git a good nights sleep. Dag burn tink has a loader and the loader is off. I musta never checked the 3 point last time i had it split. I have turned a small field with my N with a disk plow so gonna use it to disk it up soon as I fix the pto. I could not see were the PTO and 3 point were related so focus on the 3 point.

I did not see your post until after you found the ‘selector’… it should look like the attached pic with the loader on… and turned horizontal with the loader removed… don’t know what to say about the PTO… my L4200 is independent with a hydraulic clutch.
How bad was the GST clutch pack replacement??
Good luck with the PTO problem. KennyV.

First how my day went

Well boys I must B live'n rite. I spent the better part of the morning run'n down local deals on swap shop and look'n at golf carts. golf carts have got rite expensive it seams. B-4 I pay $1600 and up fer one I will buy a new'n, I saw one today $6300 fer a used'n have folks gone crazy or whut. Seams the beach crowd sucks all the good'ns up around here. Got back to the shop and mopped around look'n at the Bota and dreading to have to break it back apart. So after some debate I drove back in to it but first drain the hydraulic fluid then try a experiment. I removed the retainer plate and return spring that holds the PTO shifter in the side of the trans them pull it out about 3/4' and push it back in. the tractor gods must been look'n down on me the PTO werks as designed. SOOOO back it out the door and the dag burn roll bar hits the roll up door &^%&* cuss it enuff to send it and me both to he!!. Must B lucky again were it bent the door it pushed rite back in. Cheap doors must Good fer sum'n. I knew my day was coming to bend up a door i am the worst in the world to not roll'em up all the way.

Took 2 weeks to get all the parts and another week to get the rite parts, look'n up parts is harder than chinese rifmatic. If not for the help of the dealer mechanic I may still b with out the rite parts. clutch pack replacement went rite well, repairing all the sheet it tore up went rite well. One would need a big arse set of snap ring pliers. The outer drive hub will need to come off to install the clutch drum on the mid section shaft then install the outer drive hub and the big bad snap ring into the GST clutch pack. Make sure when you let the forward reverse shift leaver down into the shift rail you do not miss the slot, it will fall down under it and can not B repositioned less the front clutch house'n comes back off. I had to eye ball the alignment of the clutch and pressure plate to the flywheel, Bota tool did not help, Ho-made tool did not help, once I eyed balled it the tractor slid back together O-whut a feel'n. Not a bad job once completed, if one is not skeered of a standard trans I would say a piece of cake. I was impressed with the repair manual and how simple bota made the set up and the need for no special tools other than what a repair shop should have on hand for day to day operations.
