kubota l3240 clutch

I have a two year old L3240 with 130 hours and the clutch has failed.

Told dealer that I smelled ozone-like smell and clutch felt soft at 50 hour service. They said nothing was amis then and it has seemed to run fine until now.

The dealer is already trying to blame me for riding the clutch. I do not ride clutches. I have been driving tractors, including three former kubotas with many hours, for 60 years and never had a clutch problem.

Advise???

Welcome to TBN. Is your 3240 a DT? I know with hst I only use the clutch when starting the tractor and when engaging the PTO. I wondering if the linkage is sticking or doesn't have the play it needs or if the pressure plate is bad. Unfortunately the only way to find out is to pull it apart.
