Hi all,
haven't posted for quite a while as everything running smooth and no questions. So that leads me to my latest purchase.
I just picked up for a very cheap price a Kubota L 321 snowblower. what I know so far is it is made by McKee and is also known as a Sno-lander 320 they also made these for John Deer. does any one have any info on these or manuals?
I have finished welding a few cracks, straighten a 3 point arm and putting new set screws in the gear on the shaft, as well as a full grind down and prime and paint job.All seems to be mechanically sound but any info on this 5 foot blower would be appreciated.

I saved this from somewhere on the web awhile back as I have a 720. Just some specifications.

I have never heard of a manual for a McKee snowblower. Maybe they exist but I have never seen one.
The most important things would be keep it greased and oiled and replace the cutting edge when it is worn out.
I find keeping all fire wood and concrete blocks out of the way is important to.
I think it is fairly common to have to straighten the hitch on the McKee blowers.

My McKee 720 was always bending the pins that fit into the lower arms of the 3 pt hitch
I modified the blower to eliminate the fixed pin as you will see in the photo and then a heavy pin went through both plates and the bending was never happening again.
The red line in the photo shows where the new pin would go. The 3 pt arm would be between the two plates.

The McKee fan was too small to get rid of the snow if your reverse gear was too fast. I even bought a special low reverse gear for my Nuffield but even that was too fast for the McKee.

Dont ever try and remove the fan. It will be rusted into place and you will do a lot of damage trying to get it off.
McKee built blowers for John Deere, Kubota and others. The only difference was the color.

My friend has a B7100 with a 48" blower. He runs the pto at a speed faster than 540 but not the top speed. it has stood up to that without problems and does a much better job getting rid of the snow.

If you want to build a hydraulic chute rotator its easy just ask for some photos

Thanks for the input, I did find one manual on e-bay 50 bucks I think at that price I will figure it out on my own.
I like your idea on the 3 point arm fix if I bend mine after my repairs might just do that.
I fabricated a chute rotator out of a boat trailer winch for now using an arm that puts it right behind my seat of the tractor and a set of winch rollers seems to work pretty good.
But now on to a new problem with my tractor PTO as posted under the repair section
Thanks for all the help.
