Kubota L3010 Power Steering Hose Replacement

Need some help if you can...I have a 2001 L3010 GST and I blew one of the hydraulic line on the power steering. It is about 6 or 7' long one that goes from the Hydraulic Steering Cylinder near the front of the tractor to some point near steering wheel column that I can't figure out how to get to. Looking for some advice on how to access the rear connection (somewhere near the steering column). Messick's has the hose (TA020-33520) for for $104, but I can't figure out how or where to access the back fitting to repalce it....really don't want to haul the tractor to the dealer for a hose....appreciated if anybody knows how to access the rear fitting...thanks!

Haven't heard back from anybody.....has anybody replaced these power steering hoses? Would appreciate some advice

Any number of people have replaced Kubota steering lines, as it's a fairly common failure. They're no fun, no matter which model tractor. You just start removing panels, wires, linkage, other hoses, etc. Whatever is in the road to the steering valve until you get to it. If you feel dedicated to "brand loyalty" and choose the $104 factory replacement, then go for it. It will no doubt be another plastic hose just like the one that failed. I would suggest you remove the failed item, match and replace it with 1/4" rubber hydraulic hose. If you plan to keep your tractor for any length of time, you might consider replacing the other three while you're at it or you face the prospect of going back at some point in the future and doing all this again. It does of course, go a little faster the second time.

Thank you for the response....I was hoping for an easy way in.....guess I will just have to start taking things off...
