I've just bought above tractor (sight unseen) and owner has advised "runs but motor fumes & water pump leaks". Anyone out there know of possible/probable cause symptomatic of fuming issue and a good source of parts. I'm based in Auckland, New Zealand. Thanks.

Fumes is probablya shady term for crankcase blowby. May run ok for quite a while like that before power loss requires engine rebuild. My little 175 did that and made a mess on the belly mower. I ran a hose from vent tube to to fitting I installed in air intake coupling behind filter. I burn my crankcase fumes, so no more mess.
