Kubota L2800DT vs New Holland T1510/1520

All things being equal (dealer availability, transmission, attachments, price), is there any significant reason to buy one over the other? I think they stopped making the Kubota in 2010 but still make the T series New Holland?

You need to put your butt in the seat and see if one "feels" better to you. See about the 3 point hitch on the L2800, put an implement on (hopefully a heavy one) raise it up in the slowest increments possible that you can and see if it's works fine for you...

I love my L2800 but I would not like to have to drive a gear tractor again... :2cents:

I would wait and save more for a HST... either tractor.

I'd pick the T1510 or T1520. No shifter on the floor. Value for the dollar is a bit higher - at least around here.

Very comparable tractors. Check both of them out. With used equipment, condition is more important than brand, so pick the one you like best and think is in overall better condition.

What turned me off to the Kubota were the tie rods in front of the axle. As I use my tractor in rough terrain with rocks and stick ups, I'd bend these in a minute. The other reason is how access to the tractor was from only one side as the joystick infringes on entrance on the right side. I need entrance from both sides.

Yea, I've bent one of my tie rods early on... had to heat it and bend it back. Not a good design. I did add a step on the right side and cut down the FEL joystick (it's a twig now ) so I get on and off from both sides.
