Hi, I've been looking for a new tractor but came across a l2500 with 171 hours on it for 6000.00. Seemed like a fair price. What do you think? Anyone know if I can get a loader for this tractor? Thanks in advance, MP

I don't know. How big and strong are you? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif Seriously, my little B7100 with FEL did not have power steering so it took some effort to turn the steering wheel if I had a full load in the FEL, but since you're usually moving forward or backward as you turn, it wasn't too bad. There is, what I consider, an even more important thing to think about without power steering, and that is the fact that a front wheel can hit a rut, hole in the ground, rock, etc. and suddenly and unexpectedly spin the steering wheel. Broken fingers or thumbs are not unheard of. And of course the solution to that, too, is to always have a proper hold of the steering wheel, not just a hand relaxed on it.
