Kubota L245DT FEL

I have a Kubota L245DT with a Front End Loader that shows to be a 1200 series. When I called my local Kubota dealer they don't have any information on a 1200 series FEL. Does anyone have information on this loader? I have a leaky cylinder that needs to be fixed.

Back in the late '70s / early '80s when Kubota was just starting to penetrate the US market, they bought US-made FEL's and backhoes and gave them Kubota model numbers. There's a L245 on eBay that looks like it has a U.S. loader - but the number isn't visible. You may do best by taking the cylinder apart and bringing the worn out seals to a hydraulics shop and match them up with what they have. The good thing is its likely to be an inch-size cylinder and rod (non metric) so parts that fit should be plentiful. As always, cheerful refund of all money if advice is bogus

The SEAL KIT for your bucket cylinders is part #70050-00299. Cost is about $26.00. Sure beats the $150.00 the dealer wants to rebuild!!
