Howdy Folks
I have a c.1985 Kubota L2250 tractor with about 880 hours.
Brakes are dragging slightly.... The emergency brake set is loose, so I don't think that's it. Pedals are locked together. Have verified that it is not in 4wd.
They seemed to be working fine prior to a recent "road trip"
Noticed it after a 30 minute drive to a friends property (and back) to help him load some logs. Drove down the highway / shoulder and didn't use the brakes on the road, just to hold the tractor postion while loading logs.
They seemed to get hot on the way home. I felt the drag getting stronger as I neared home. That feeling led me to check those humps near the rear end. They were warm to the touch but not hot.
At the moment, the tractor is usable around the property, but it doesn't coast like did. So there it's not like a brake fully hung up - they still work, they are just dragging some.
Thanks for reading.
