Kubota L200
I recently inherited an L-200 here in Oregon .
I believe its a pretty early edition as the Fenders Have Lights in the Front of them and it has the Mushroom Air Cleaner.

I have done a few thing so far to get it going.

It Starts Hard if at all when Cold - I installed a Coolant Heater in the Lower Hose. Much Better.
I found a Parts Manual and a copy of a Service Manual but searching for a Owners manual. I'm pretty new to tractors and unsure how to use some of the features. Hoping to find a Operators Manual.

I'm wondering about a couple things on my Fix it List. I Was a Car Guy so I'm rather mechanical / or was at one time. LOL

1. The Three Point Lift leaks fluid at the Lift Arm Rockshaft. I see in the Parts Manual there are Two different O-rings on each side of it. I have removed the Arms and see that the Shaft will slide out. The inside o-rings show to be under the bushing and the outer is behind a machine washer. I found the O-Rings in Texas and have a set on the way. The Inner O Rings will require the shaft to be pulled out to replace.
What will happen when that shaft comes out ? Will the inner spline tube that connects the piston end to the Rockshaft that it goes thru drop down ? The shaft does slide free. I dont have a clear understanding of whats inside with the hydraulic lever ( inner spline collar with leg to the shaft that causes the rotation / Lift ) and I would really like to know more before pulling that shaft out. Fear that something drops down inside requiring major dis-assembly to reinsert the shaft has me with anxiety.

2 One of the Headlight bulbs is out -- The side that works has a Toshiba Bulb that I can not find / nor a conversion replacement. I can find the Same design - and the wattage shows to be 30W/30W but the 12V - 30W/30W replacement I found is VERY VERY DIM as compared to the side with the original bulb. Does anyone have a idea why one 30W/30W and another 30W/30W would have SUCH different Brightness ? Anyone know a source for the right bulb ? Battery is 12V. There is no reference I can find in the parts manual to the fender lights or bulb for.

Thanks for Looking - any help appreciated.

the original bulb may have been a Halogen, and the 12V - 30W/30W replacement may not be, you could have a bad connection to the bulb too, try that bulb in the other headlight..

It will be near the weekend before I can get the time to work on it again - Had not thought of Halogen - Assumed that it could not be based on approx 1970 Manufacture date.
Just to Clarify - The Right Light is Headlight Bright - The Replacement left I refer to as DIM, is not even taillight Bright - its so dim its Orange Light of no value past the instrument panel..

Thanks for the Suggestion to switch - Will report and photo the bulb in good side .

Talked with Local Kubota Dealer today - but no one there even remembers the L200-210. Got a little basic hydraulic Lift info though.

Does anyone know if the 3 Point Lift on the L200 is a Cat 1 ? I was looking to replace some pieces that are frozen and found a Cat 1 Kit that's very reasonable but no measurement on Vertical Lift Links - Sway chain Lengths or pin sizes etc is Available. I ask if it fit L200 - seller was not sure of any detail besides " Its a Category 1"
I dont know that the way mine is set up currently is correct. My vertical lifts bars are currently truly Vertical | - not \ .
Moving Vertical Lift Bars to \ position would increase weight lift. I do realize that if I Re Assemble with the lift arms one spline down that the length of the vertical lift bars could be shorter. The way its currently set up - Vertical fit bars would be adjustable between 17 and 21 inches and sway chains need to be 15-20 inches. The way it was before disassembly, the back end of my forks do not reach the ground. Unsure if it was previous set up to sacrifice low point to gain higher high point ? With top link adjustment, the points of the Forks do make the ground even though butt ends are 2-3 inches off the ground.

So much to learn !

thanks.

Its plugging along.
Bulb issue OK --
Months of a Spray a Day - of 3 different Penetrating oils and I have unfrozen all but one 3 piece of 3 point linkage.
Recently took apart the 3 point cylinder / rockshaft and replaced O rings. ( Which were all Kubota Proprietary and took some work and $ to find. )

Parts seem to be drying up for some items.

Good luck with your project.

I would ditch the headlights and replace them with LED utility lights. I installed them on my vintage tractors, you can buy them cheap in bulk through Ebay or Amazon. As far as the frozen 3 point linkage, you can soak a rag in ATF and wrap it around the joints and let it simmer.

Have not tried ATF - will add to the cocktail of:
Alternating - Tri Flow ( Love that stuff ) - PB Blaster -- Vinegar --
Its the Threads below the Leg with the Screw. Getting some movement so thinking I'm making progress.
Chain tighteners now free and the Manual Leg turning OK.

My Headlights are integrated into the rear fenders -- Rectangle 3 X 8 Approx - Both working currently although only on BRIGHT. I dont use them much but nice to know they are there and will function in a pinch.

Thanks for the Suggestion

Once you free up the threads, if you grease them they should stay nice for years. In 2007 my dad went to an auction and won a 30 year old Ford 1600, which Im thinking is a little bigger but very similar to your L200. He didnt like it much so I bought it, been one awesome worker.

thanks for resurrecting this. its a neat old tractor in good shape, but i think we are going to hold out for 4 wheel drive, there is potential to use our tractor on my wife's parents property in the mountains and if we ever end up with mountain property.
