Tractor News Kubota gearing up to play with the big boys

The Ford New Holland merger with Case IH required several divestures in order to get European and North American approval. They had to get rid of Versatile. Caterpillar Challenger of the typical tractor style were New Holland tractors built in Winnipeg with Caterpillar track components installed. We built the track frames at our Caterpillar plant in Minneapolis and shipped them to Winnipeg for installation. Case had to divest their Doncaster plant in the UK along with the tractor line built there.

Bets its the beginning of Kubota purchasing Versatile.

Did you hang up your wrenches and flock south?

The wrenches were hung up about 6 years ago when I moved out front to the parts counter.
We moved south in the Fall of 2017 and I am running the shop at a Kubota /NH store.
