I have a 2008 BX1850, I have a chance to buy a BX2750B, will this snowblower fit the 1850? My search for a blower also shows a BX2750D and a BX2750. Will either of these blowers fit the 1850?
Well, according to a 2009 Kubota Wholegoods catalog, the only front mount blower listed for your BX1850 is the BX2750D. You would also need a BX2751 quick hitch subframe plus the BX2752 mid PTO kit to attach it to your BX (which is a different PTO kit than is used on the other BX's due to the different wheel bases). I don't know what model the BX2750B fit since there's no way to do a reverse look up. Since it appears to be an earlier model, it may have been made for an earlier BX, perhaps the BX23xx series. You might get a more detailed response on the BX2750B from a knowledgeable dealer.
Well, maybe I lied, ha. I have a wholegoods file from 2007 and doing a search on that for BX2750B shows that snowblower was made for the BX1500, BX1830, BX2230 and BX23. Kubota did a major redesign when the moved from the BX23 series to the BX24 series so unless a dealer or someone else here can tell you it's compatible, I'd pass on the BX2750B. Of course my advice is worth what you paid for it, LOL. Good luck either way.
I have a BX2230 and bought a used 2750D with the quick hitch from a dealer. It had been removed from a BX2360 and I was told it would fit. I had to return to the dealer to have a shorter PTO drive shaft installed on the quick hitch. The pillow block bearings needed to be moved also but they were just shifted on the same frame.
