Hi,
I stopped at my dealers to pick up some oil and hydraulic filters...200 hours is approaching and I want to change all the oils, a repeat of the 50 hour service...
It's time to pay and the total is about $20 more than it was last time...I ask why...
The parts lady tells me the 16271-320090 engine oil filter is now $14.01!
What? I paid $4.75 last time, glad I bought a couple extras....
Somethings wrong here I tell her, let's forget that one...
The 66021-36060 also has increased from $4.45 to $10.15...let's forget that one for the time being too...
She told me Kubota supplies a "tape" of prices that they enter into their computer system...and she will check and see what she can find out.
For reference, Tractorsmart lists the engine filter on their web site as costing $8.20 and the hydraulic filter I mentioned above as still being $4.45 ea...
Just a heads up in case you are buying filters from Kubota...perhaps they sent out some messed up pricing data to the dealers, and the dealers my be charging more than the real price for some things...
And maybe not just filters?
Have to call the parts lady at my dealership today and see if she found anything out...
