I admire those of you working on adding Top N Tilt to your existing tractors, but would like to consider having the tractor delivered with TNT. The Kubota box scraper brochure shows a slick factory looking installation.

Has anyone ordered their tractor new with the Top N Tilt option? How expensive was it? Did it have a nice custom look? Is it simple to operate?

I am looking at the cash outlay to add this on after purchase vs. adding the expense to the intial tractor loan.

Opinions wanted. Thanks,

Driver, if I were buyng a new tractor, I'd sure want to get the dealer installed version. However, first off I didn't think about it when I bought my tractor, and then later, they told me Kubota did have have that as an option on the B2710 although they did show it as an option on some of the bigger tractors.

That's what I was told too. No Kubota kit for the B series, only for the bigger tractors. They aimed me at the Tisco catalog.

FYI - on quick inspection it looked like the Tisco links are a good fit for the L series, so that could be a much easier path. I would have gladly paid the Tisco pricing ($180 per cylinder) if they were ready-to-use on my tractor, but the only ones I could find (Gearmore) were closer to $300 each which is 3x the cost of the bare cylinder - too much to swallow for a New Englander.

Driver, when I bought my 2910, I specified the T&T. When delivered, it was the Gearmore setup. I was told there is no Kubota option. The Gearmore setup is fine and cost me $800 installed and complete. Seems that the time to buy is up front since Hayden is getting $800 quotes for the parts alone.

My dealer was not aware of any Top-and-Tilt kit or parts available for my B2400, and told me that the B2400 was too small for Top-and-Tilt.

The salesman was surprised when I told him about the Gearmore kit.

My attitude about adding after market hydraulics is that as long as the tractor has a pump, you can do it. Gearmore and Gannon sell alot of TnT cylinders and valves. They know that their implements work best when fitted with the appropriate hydraulics. A box scraper without TnT can be cumbersome at best. Adding your own set of valves might be the best option regardless of model. The Kubota installed version for the L4610 does not have the levers where I want them. Rat...

Sorry to post and then run off for an extended weekend. I will try to get a price quote that includes TNT and compare it to the aftermarket options. My dealer does not seem too familiar with this set up.

I ordered (and got) the Gearmore TnT kit for my B7500 when I bought it. Part of the package. Quotes were in the $750-$1200 range depending on dealer. Price of the TnT was not the deal maker or breaker, as there were enough items on the shopping list to have a lot of slop in different areas. In the end the dealer with the highest price for the TnT had the best overall deal.

The Gearmore kit is pretty nice; there are pictures of it in the photos forum.
