I just brought home a used Kubota F2560 4WD mower with 1431 hours. I was mowing for a few hours and noriced some fluid on the left side of the mower as I stopped out by the pasture area. I looked under the mower to check the fluid bubble and it was over half full. I got back on the mower and continued to mow...as I turned right at the end of animal pen, I noticed a large amount of fluid on my left side, I shut down the unit, slid under it and could see a lot of fluid dripping from I don't know where??? I cleaned off the whole under carraige with a rag and waited, but no more fluid was dripping. I looked at the bubble again and it was below half... I noticed that the drivers left side tire had a lot of wetness on the inside of the tire and the rim...enough so that there was a tiny puddle on the inside of the bottom of the rim where it was gathering in the rim groove. The fluid dripping under the unit was not coming from the motor, but somewhere forward, as the motor was not dripping at all and the fluid seemed to be coming from the forward area??? I am stumped...does anyone know anything about these units and can you shed some light on my dilema??
Thank you,
Arlen
P.s. My other F2560 is newer with only 850 hours on it, is not a 4 Wd and has never had any problems other than tires and blades.
