Kubota Clutch problems

I own a B7100d. When I engage the clutch the trannny initially goes out of gear,but then proceeds to slide back into gear. what the heck is going on here?

Not quite sure what you mean, is the clutch plate slipping? is the shifter popping out of gear? is the high-low range popping into neutral? we need more info. Gary

Thanks Gary,
Everything is normal except that when I engage the clutch to get out of gear. As I hold down on the clutch it will re- engage like the clutch pedal is not even pressed down. With the clutch pedal down the tractor will continue to roll like the clutch is engaged.

I'm not familiar with the clutch system on your tractor. Is is mechanical or hydraulic activated? If hydraulic, the cylinder might be bad. If mechanical, you might need to adjust the clutch freeplay. ???

I belive it is a mechanical clutch. I've seen problems like this before, and it sounds like a broken center plate spring. The spring will get wedged in between the pressure plate, and clutch plate, and this will allow it to go into lock-up. When this happens,do you still have some pedal resistance? or do you loose all the pedal?

It is a mechanical clutch.I still have pedal resistance and can sometimes double clutch and it will slip back out of gear. This problem comes and goes making it hard to diagnose.I have tried the adjustments suggested by Kubota to no avail.
