Kubota BX2670 tractor

I own a Kubota BX2670 with a mid mount deck. I want to covert the deck to a front deck using the sub frame that they use for the front snow blower. The reason I want to do this is first of all, it is much easier to install/remove the deck and I mulch my lawn. if the deck is on the front you do not pack down the grass first before you mow it. You may ask why do I not just buy a front deck mower. Well, as you well know, it is very handy to have a tractor that you can use with a loader etc. Has anyone tired this on a Kubota BX tractor?

You might want to check mower and see if turns CW or CC then check and see if it match engine.

I will post pictures when completed

as far as how the PTO runs I am going to use the mm deck and just move it forward and use the PTO ext that they use for the front snow blower so it will run the same way. I also plan to add dolly wheels to the front

Sounds intriguing. Have you checked if the snowblower PTO shaft will hook up to the deck and is the right length? I would think you'd have to fab up your mounting hardware first, then measure for the PTO shaft. Keep us posted.

A local dealer has the frame and pto extension for the snow blower coming in shortly for someone else. He said I can look it over and see if it will work. I looked at the video on you tube installing the snow blower and with some work to the front deck, it may work I will post if I get it working (will be my brother and myself winter project.
