2660 and 2670 are equivalent. 2670 is the newer version of the highest HP BX offering. 2670-1 model is current iteration, offering fully folding ROPS, thicker rubber floor mat, and improved gauge cluster (over the 2660). At this point you would only be able to get a 2660 on the used market. There may be a few 2670s left new on lots, but if buying new, specify the 2670-1.

Age isn't as big a problem with tractors as with cars and trucks. Hours is the most important factor along with regular scheduled maintenance.
I owned a BX2660 about 5 years ago and the designation changed a few months ago to the BX2670 so the BX2660 can be around 6 years old or less than a year old. There are probably some new never sold BX2660s on dealers lots in some locations.
I'm sure whoever owns it will know how long they've owned it and if they have it paid off with no liens and if they have had it maintained by a dealer or themselves.
The engine and most of the works are probably the same between the BX2660 and BX2670. Usually the gauges and maybe body panels and maybe location of the FEL stick may change. The BX25 recently changed to a BX25D and the brake pedal was moved from right side to left side and for the 30 minutes I've driven it I hate the change because I ghot used to it being on the right side but other than that it doesn't matter which side it's on. Also I prefer the old huages vs the new gauges, mostly just what one gets used to but I'll get used to the changes and all will be fine in the Kubota world as I see it.

If me, I would look at the BX2660 paying close attention to the appearance of the unit, paint faded, dings, dents anything bent, how are the tires. Exactly what will you be getting with the BX2660 other than the unit itself. I would then price a BX2670 at a couple of dealers with comparable equipment and if I thought the 2660 was a good buy that is the way to go.
Finally before shaking hands on the deal, if the BX2660 is from an individual it is probably a cash sale and no warranty. The BX2670 would have a warranty and the option to use the 0 percent Kubota financing.
