kubota bx2660 3pt hitch dimensions

To All:
I will be getting a brand new 2010 Kubota bx 2660 on Saturday. The 3pt hitch is a cat 1 but it seems narrow and with a short distance for the top connector arm. Do you need a special size (shorter) connector arm for the top? My JD 790 had a cat 1 hitch but was much wider and needed a much longer connector arm. Any information about these smaller size cat 1 hitches is most appreciated. Also any feedback on the bx2660 is most appreciated! This is my first post. I expect I will be back many times.

John, your BX2660 will come with a top link of the proper dimensions. I have used regular cat 1 equipment such as box blade and back blade off of my Ford NAA, but I prefer the smaller 48" BB and 60" blade. Land Pride, Woods, King Kutter make implements for these SCUT's.

I love my BX2660, but don't use it much anymore since my wife retired.:laughing:
