kubota bx24 HYD system

I Have a bx24! Followed artisans build on grappleomatic. He has a bx25! Looking to get the same fasse valve. I talked to him and he didn't know if his hyd system was the same as mine.He suggested I start a thread here to find out. All help would be much appreciated !!! As soon as I get valve I will start a thread with all pics. So here is the question.

Are both of these Hyd systems open center systems or closed center systems?

i don't know what you have without looking. Open center systems the hyd. pump is usual attached to be constantly driven i.e. off the engine, coupled to the harmonic balancer on the front of the crankshaft. That said, Case has/had on demand pump, closed center system. Who else? Donno. Cat typically others are open center, pump circulates fluid constantly from resevior to pump inlet back to resevior. Cheaper to build. adjustments are fairly critical on closed center. Rv's have on demand water systems. When you open a fasuet the pump comes on.
