I have a bx24 with just a little over 100 hrs at about 60 hrs I had a small
stick flip up and rip the boot and clean all the blades off the fan.The cost to me was $250 About $12 was parts. At about a hundred hrs i was back dragging after a stump removal and a small root tore the boot So back to the dealers it went.Another $250 and I'm back in business. This should be a small job but the shaft is to long to be removed unless you move the engine forward.I love the tractor and the dealor is great as is the service.I think Kubota should step up to the plate, take ownership and correct this problem.
Lengthening the splnes to make it easy to remove or a shorter shaft.A belly pan would also help.I urge anyone who has had this problem to e-mail Kubota
as I have they will not like to have unhappy owners.I have read several posts on this same problem.
Thank you,
