Hi All,
Rear hydraulics on a Kubota BX2200
Having read threads until I am red eyed could anyone pass judgement/comment on what I have managed to come up with for adding rear hydraulics for the following:
1 A McConnell Swing Trim (On board Spools)
2 A Hydraulic Tipping Box (No spool)
I think I have found a reasonable way to do the job, but first I have found a minor hiccup with the feed out of the Pump. In the diagram attached I have a missing connection between the Power Feed to the rear Hydraulics and the Output from the Tractor Hydraulic Pump. (I have no FEL etc., hence no pipework heading to the front ).I reckon the output will need a swivel connector fitted then either a short pipe inserted or a longer hose for the 180 degree(ish) turn to make the connection. The gap between the two is only a few centimetres so is it possible/practical to make up a short pipe for this or is it better to just use a length of hose?
As for the rest of the circuit, I just plan on using a couple of short hoses one with a male quick release on and the other with a female quick release fitted so when no implement is connected to the tractor I just connect one to the other. When I have the Tipping box on I just break the QR and connect each QR to their respective input/output on a spool valve which I would fit at some convenient point on the rear of the tractor.
Then when I have the Swing Trim hedge cutter on the back I just connect the QR,s just mentioned to matching male/female QR,s on the hoses of the Swing Trim.
This only leaves a return to tank for the Swing Trim. The dealer and McConnell just use the filler hole to dump the return to tank oil. However I think I have found a return to tank point as shown on the diagram, can anyone confirm this is indeed what I think it is? If this is a Return to Tank then another bit of pipe work and hose would take it to the rear for connection to the Swing Trim RTT plastic pipe.
Cheers and here's hoping i am on the right track
David
